Questions about official Johnson County court dockets and case records usually belong with the Clerk of the District Court or the division that heard the matter. This page separates the limited role of this private reference resource from the offices that can confirm a setting, provide a document, or certify a copy.

This Is Not a Court or Government Office. This privately operated reference resource is not part of any Kansas court or agency. It cannot retrieve a file, alter a hearing date, seal a case, issue a certified copy, or provide legal advice. The Clerk of the District Court or the assigned court division must handle those needs.

Need an Official Docket or Record?

Route common Johnson County requests to the office or official tool that holds the record:

  • A docket sheet: use Kansas CaseSearch, or request the register of actions from Records Management
  • A court date or setting: review the court dates, then confirm the setting with the assigned court division
  • Certified copies: order from the clerk of court, who is the keeper of the docket and the official record
  • A specific case: run a case lookup by party name or case number
  • Court records and case files: review the record request paths, or contact the clerk for the court that heard the case

For district dockets and court files, contact the Clerk of the District Court, Records Management, 150 W Santa Fe St, Suite 1100, Olathe, KS 66061, at 913-715-3480.
